You create a OneSpace account in the app. It takes a few minutes and is free. Here is the short version.
- Install the app on your device. Every store link is in Where to download OneSpace. You can also use the web client, which needs no install.
- Open the app and tap "Sign Up" or "Create Account" on the welcome screen.
- Enter your email address, choose a username, and set a password. The password rules are in Password requirements.
- Confirm your email address with the link in the confirmation email. It can take up to ten minutes to arrive. Check your spam folder if it does not.
- Set a PIN code, and fingerprint or Face ID if you want them. Phone verification is optional and can be skipped.
Your username is your login
You log in with your username, not your email address. If you lose your username, we cannot recover it. Write it down and keep it somewhere safe. A forgotten password can be reset by email. A forgotten username cannot.
Buying premium?
Create your account with the same email address you use at checkout. Premium then activates automatically within a few minutes of purchase, and you never need to enter a code.
One more thing: people you share files with only need the free app or the web client. They never pay to receive.
