You can delete your OneSpace account yourself, in the app, whenever you want. The steps are the same on mobile and on desktop.
- In the navigation bar, choose Settings.
- Go to Profile.
- Choose Delete account.
Cannot find the navigation bar? It sits at the bottom of the screen. If you run OneSpace fullscreen on a desktop computer, it moves to the bottom left instead.
No Delete account option showing? Choose Edit on the account page first. The option appears after that.
Cancel any active subscription first. Deleting your account does not cancel a subscription. You can cancel through the billing portal: open the Manage subscription link in any subscription email we have sent you. Cancelling stops future charges, with no fee and no phone call needed.
What deletion removes
Your account, your username, and the personal data linked to it. Your files and everything you have shared also disappear. Once the account is deleted, your files and shares are permanently unrecoverable. We cannot restore them either.
What we must keep
Records of purchases and invoices stay in our administration, because bookkeeping law requires us to keep them for a set period. They are kept for that purpose only.
If you cannot get into the app
Email support@onespacesecurity.com from the email address on your account and ask us to delete it. We confirm by email when it is done. A real person reads it.
